Cookie Policy
What cookies VanHols uses and how to control them.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. Under the UK's PECR rules, we only use non-essential cookies with your consent.
2. Cookies we use
| Type | What it does | Consent? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | A session cookie that keeps owners signed in, and local storage that remembers that you've seen our cookie notice and your saved caravans. | No – needed for the site to work |
| Analytics | Not used. We don't use any analytics cookies. | – |
| Marketing | Not used. We don't use any advertising or tracking cookies. | – |
We currently use strictly necessary cookies only. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first.
3. Maps
Our maps load map tiles from OpenStreetMap (tile.openstreetmap.org), which receives your IP address so it can send the map images to your device. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
4. Controlling cookies
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, there's nothing to switch on or off. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but owner sign-in won't work without them.
