⏱ Offer Race · Static caravans for sale

Buy a static caravan. Race for it.

Every caravan has a timed Offer Race of 7 to 28 days, set by the seller. Make an offer, watch the top offer climb, and the seller chooses the buyer – then the park gives the final OK.

The only fee for buyers: a £200 VanHols reservation fee, paid only if the seller chooses your offer, on top of the price you agree. It's refunded in full if the park refuses you in writing within 28 days. Selling is free.

Fees, upfront. Buyers pay a £200 VanHols reservation fee only when the seller chooses their offer. It's on top of the price agreed with the seller, it isn't refunded if you change your mind, and it's refunded in full if the park refuses you in writing within 28 days (or the seller pulls out). There's nothing else to pay VanHols. Parks set their own site fees (shown on each caravan) and some charge a transfer or commission fee when a van changes hands – ask the park.

How the Offer Race works

Fun to watch, fair to everyone – and no-one is forced to sell. More about how it works

1

The seller lists free

VanHols checks every caravan before it goes live. The seller chooses a race of 7, 14, 21 or 28 days.

2

Buyers make offers

Sign in, confirm your email and make an offer. Each offer must beat the top offer by at least £100. Offers in the last 10 minutes add 10 minutes, so no-one can snipe at the last second.

3

The seller chooses

The seller picks the offer they want – it doesn't have to be the highest – or none at all. Nothing is binding until the park approves the buyer.

4

Reserve for £200

The chosen buyer has 48 hours to pay the £200 reservation fee by card. The caravan is then marked Reserved and you both get each other's contact details.

5

The park says yes

You apply to the park. If the park refuses you in writing within 28 days, send us the letter or email and we refund the £200 in full and the caravan goes back on sale.

  • No listing fee and no commission for sellers
  • You choose which offer to accept – or none at all
  • Drop your price any time – watchers who asked for alerts get an email
  • Your phone number and email stay private until a buyer has reserved

Before you list

Check your park allows private sales and ask about any transfer fee. You'll need at least 3 photos, your site fees and the park sales office's phone number or email (kept private – VanHols uses it to check refusals).
